Richard Levine has a background in print and visual media. He earned the 1989 Charlie Award (first place), for Best Feature Article from the Florida Magazine Association. He co-authored Wise Practice: Affective Education in the Inner City, a story of teaching and potential; and Smoke and Mirrors: Making the Transformation to Nonsmoker a Path of Spiritual and Personal Growth,
"A Riverside Evening," a short film he wrote and co-produced, won the Park City Music Film Festival Silver Medal for Excellence Award. Another short he wrote, "Planting Hope," won six Crystal Reel Awards. He has also optioned the feature film, "Banked Blood," to Toolbox Films.
Richard also does psycho-educational facilitation and training for various agencies, and has written an Excel-based software application -- available as free download--designed to track clients in court mandated psycho-educational programs.
